Sharkz Coins maintains a variety of licensing agreements with various copyright-holding agencies. Only coins visible in the Sharkz Coins Store are available for sale to the general public. Please read on for some important legal information.

NOTICE REGARDING ROYAL CANADIAN MOUNTED POLICE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The RCMP Foundation is the owner of all RCMP copyright material including, but not limited to, all RCMP wordmarks, crests, the red surge uniform, and other official imagery that refers directly to the RCMP. Sharkz Coins is a licensed producer of RCMP products and will oversee all of the approvals and administrative processes necessary to produce RCMP coins and other products. Anyone wishing to produce a product that makes use of RCMP intellectual property MUST do so through a licensed provider like Sharkz Coins. NOTICE REGARDING CANADIAN DEPARTMENT OF NATIONAL DEFENCE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The badges, crests and insignia of the Canadian Forces are copyright and/or trade-mark protected. In accordance with Chapter 6, paragraph 58 of C P A-AD-200-000/AG-000 “The Heritage Structure of the Canadian Forces” only a Commanding Officer may authorize reproduction of the formation or unit’s official badge. Additionally, under the authority of CFP A-PS-110-001/AG-002 “Morale and Welfare Programs in the Canadian Forces” a Branch, Regimental or Group Fund may establish a kit shop to offer specialized merchandise to the Branch, Regiment or Fund. Therefore, unless an order is accompanied by a signed letter from a unit Commanding Officer or a member of the senior executive of a Branch, Regimental or Group Fund (or their respective delegated authorities) it will not be processed.

NOTICE REGARDING CANADIAN FOOTBALL LEAGUE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Canadian Football League (The CFL) is the owner of all CFL copyright material including, but not limited to, all CFL wordmarks, crests, and other official imagery that refers directly to the CFL including the CFL teams, their logos and imagery. Sharkz Coins is a licensed producer of CFL products and will oversee all of the approvals and administrative processes necessary to produce CFL and CFL-team coins and other products. Anyone wishing to produce a product that makes use of CFL intellectual property must do so through a licensed provider like Sharkz Coins or under a direct license with the CFL.
